Gail Logan Strange is the current Jefferson County Board of Education representative from District 1. She is a proud graduate of Central High School and retired Director of Communications with Presbyterian Church U.S.A.

JCPS Board Chair Dr. Corrie Schull says Strange “has been a very active member of this community and understands District 1. She clearly has a passion for education and the students in our community.” 

Strange sees her service on the board as her opportunity to bring her varied talents to the children in this district and is committed to making sure the constituents in District 1 have the best education experience possible.
