We believe in Corrie Shull’s commitment to be a strong voice and advocate for the improvement of outcomes and accountability at Jefferson County Public Schools.
His top priorities on the JCPS Board will be to:
• Help fashion policies that guarantee the best education for students and move JCPS forward to become one of the best large school districts in the nation.
• Be a strong and progressive voice for all students, with a particular focus on low-income students and students of color, who continue to face historical barriers to success.
• Fight any future efforts that would weaken JCPS’ independence, including continued efforts to privatize our public schools.
He has worked on educational advocacy issues with outgoing board member Dr. Lisa Wilner, who encouraged his run for the board.
