Voters in Jefferson and Bullitt Counties, there’s a special election for Senate District 38 January 14. Senator Dan Seum has retired, leaving an open seat in the Kentucky General Assembly. We have a rare opportunity to pick up a seat in the senate with a candidate who will be a reliable vote for public education. Andrew Bailey is a former JCPS teacher who is committed to making public school funding a priority. If you are a registered voter in this district, go to the Voter Information Center on the State Board of Elections Website to find your polling place and VOTE on January 14!

Because schools are open on the day of the special election, the following precincts will be temporarily moved:

Bates Elementary (B134; B158; B175) will vote in Living Hope Baptist Church - 10205 Bardstown Bluff Rd
Blue Lick Elementary (I141; I145) will vote in St. Luke Catholic Church - 4211 Jim Hawkins Dr
Wilt Elementary (I153; I154) will vote in Amvets Post #61 - 9405 Smyrna Pkwy
Fairdale High School (I133) will vote in Fairdale Playtorium – 10616 W Manslick Rd
